Everyone Needs Friends! At the Social Hub, our goal is to help people of all abilities to make and keep friends…in a safe environment while having fun!
Our Programs

Weekly Social/Friends Group
Frequency: Meets weekly for 1.5 – 2 hours.
Objective: Meet new friends, have fun, learn some new social skills!
Activities: Games, projects, hang-out time, and other fun activities.
Grouping: Participants are
grouped by similar abilities and interests.
Scheduling: Set based on participant interest and availability.

Weekly Virtual Social Group
Frequency: Weekly sessions. 1 hour each
.
Objective: Designed for individuals facing challenges with in-person interactions due to anxiety or physical impairments.
Format: Similar to the in-person social group but conducted in a virtual, low-risk environment.
Activities: Dungeons & Dragons and Minecraft gaming and other fun online activities that allow individuals to make new friends in a low anxiety environment!

Summer/Winter Break Social Hub Day Camp
Frequency: 4 hours each day.
Objective: Engaging and fun sessions to learn and practice new social skills.
Activities: A fun safe place to hang out and have fun, make friends, do games and activities. Lot’s of group and individual activities to choose from

Social Opportunities for All
Frequency: Generally held on weekends, once a month
Objective: Social Activities that allow individuals to have fun in the community with friends!
Activities: Enjoy the fun activities our community has to offer! Events to include hiking, amusement parks, movies, parks, and anything else we can think of!

Ryan Groft, MA, PPS
PPS Founder/Director
Ryan, a School Psychologist since 2007, specializes in counseling, social skills training, ABA, and educational assessments for diverse learners of all ages. He’s committed to aiding individuals with disabilities in forming fulfilling friendships and enjoying enriching social interactions.

Rhianna Sanchez

Rhianna Sanchez
Lead Program Staff
Rhianna, with 15 years as a Behavior Intervention Specialist/Consultant, supports students from preschool to high school, addressing diverse academic, social, and behavioral challenges. Her experience spans specialized learning centers, community day schools, in-home ABA, and reading recovery programs. She advocates for positive learning environments and top-notch educational resources to promote student success.

Sarah Melton, MA
Staffing/Safety Coordinator
With two decades dedicated to education, Sarah has progressed from an elementary teacher to roles including reading interventionist, early childhood program designer, and teacher development specialist, consistently focusing on crafting inclusive environments to maximize learning for all.

Robert Johnson, MS, BCBA, LBA
Robert has been a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). He has worked in school and home settings and is collaborating with the social hub to create effective programming with long lasting results.
